The work of Kulttuurikameleontit ry is built on community, meaningful encounters, and people who want to help create a more open and equal society. As a volunteer, you become part of a warm and welcoming community while contributing to meaningful cultural, artistic, and community-based activities.
We are constantly looking for new volunteers to join us in a variety of roles related to events, workshops, community projects, and practical arrangements. You can get involved according to your own interests, schedule, and availability. No previous experience is required.
As a volunteer, you may take part in:
- event setup and practical arrangements
- artist and backstage assistance
- audience guidance and info point support
- decoration and creating the event atmosphere
- communications and social media content
- supporting workshops and community activities
Our best-known event, Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto, takes place annually, but our activities continue throughout the year in many different forms. We aim to create safe and inspiring spaces where people and cultures can come together.
For us, volunteering is above all about collaboration, learning, and building community together. Every contribution matters.
